REELTIME, next time I see you I'll take them out and hand them to you for a closer look. EXPLORER 21, no, I don't fish there regularly, I range all over the Galveston Bay complex. About approaching a yakker and it's not me... I don't know. I figure they couldn't get too outraged. See a 15 foot yellow Perception and take your chances.

Do you focus on Snake Island most of the time? I just see lots of yaks out there and do not want to motor up to the wrong person and they get made.
Snake Island has a boat channel running just S and SW of it. Couldn't get too angry since boats are running all through there anyways.

I launched at the pier entrance area on the east side of SEA ISLE. There is a passage way over the rocks right there . You can't miss it. You do have to drag your yak over the rocks unless you have someone to get each end to carry it if you are concerned about scratching up your yak. There's parking space there . Non residents fish there all the time , I've never had a hassle about parking and fishing.
