quick wade

Popped out for a quick wade today, couldn't afford much time away, so I was only in the water for about 2 hours. It all worked out well. on about the 5th cast missed a blow up on the she dog, next cast it was on. The first fish of the day, 29 inches and released. About ten casts later, another nice blow up, this one right about 27 inches. Couldn't really find the active bait so I clipped in the Catch five. Missed two solid bites here and said screw it, I won't argue if they want to eat the she dog. Tied her back on, and caught two decent eaters, 19 and 20, missed a few more, and called it a day. I love it when the trout bite better on a topwater than on sinking baits!! Only bad part, I needed eaters for the family, so I have to go again early tomorrow, Damn!

Another spot where I usually get the good ones this time of the year. bottom is a little more crusty there.... I'm sure that we will fish together again soon JT.

Oh yeah, hit another spot this am early. done and out by 8am, caught my remaining eaters for the fish dinner tonight and had a few extras. no big ones this morning, but they were all about 18-20 inches and all ate the same she dog(white chartreuse).

i give away the fish too; just ask the girl named michelle on here. have given her fish quite often when she was out.

Hey, the house was awesome, beverages too. I appreciate the hospitality! hopefully I get down there again soon. In the meantime, maybe me and Pimp can bring home the money this coming Saturday.

I might just go back you know..... Honestly, it's never good for me to catch them prefishing, seem to loose them on tournament day. Just go with what I know anymore and hope for the best. Good luck, looking forward to seeing some monster stringers and trying to keep ours alive for kicks.
