Well done !! Thanks for the report !! Talking about names and faces, you recognized me and I you at Hooters. We met solo wading behind SLP about 9 years ago. That was the first time I got a limit of trout. A face like mine is hard to forget !!

that was a very memorable day at SLP. I think that I may have even told that story a few times over the years. we need to go down there this coming spring. it has changed but still produces some amazing cathces in the warmer months. my best down there this year was a walk in trout that went almost 28, had a lot of 24- 25's but just that one really big one. probably fill a cooler with flounder there right now.
looking forward to it. in the meantime, there are some really good trout showing up in West, missed them last night at sunset. Jumped in the boat with Pimp today caught one decent one(21 inch) and got run off the water by lightning before 8. we had 3 keeps and at least 10 dinks.
Good going, I've found that I've had my encounters with better fish at sundown as often as sunrise. Many don't stick around that late to know. Things have quieted down by then also.
