  • Pounding Across The Bay Today........

..........or an ill wind that blows no good!
I really don't like the Northeast or ENE wind. It was blowing almost straight down the bay this afternoon so it was rough and choppy. I had to run kinda slow across to keep from beating myself to death. The N. shoreline was a little sandy but fishable.
I threw topwaters with no takers, and dark plastics. I didn't catch much.... three keeper trout and two big flatties. I had to laugh, because when I went to string a flounder, I realized I didn't have on my wade belt!
    Dorf goes fishing.

I'll be back at it tomorrow afternoon. I sure hope the wind is light and a better direction

No, I just slung my lure box over my shoulder, grabbed my rod, and jumped out of the boat without my wade belt. No stringer, no pliers, no boga!
I had to grab those flat fish with the "grip of doom".

Kenny-thanks for the report-with my back out right now-I can't fish, so your reports make my day!

Thanks for reporting in. Once, I stupidly grabbed a nice size flounder I hooked with a 51 mirrolure at SLP. Flounder left in an explosion of water and I was left with the Mirrolure hooked in my arm. NET !!
