went out sunday morning with mike(explorer 21) and donna.wind was ENE about 15.we pulled back into a cove, jumped out and started catching fish right out of the boat.the water looked good and there was tons of bait.we caught numerous trout and probably had the same amount of throwbacks.strung some nice flatties also.the bite was steady from 8:00 until about noon, and then it shut off.we decided to pick up and hit another cove.we pulled in and the water was off-colored,but there were slicks popping up and some good bait action.the bite really did'nt happen.donna did have 2 nice flatties back there and kept both of them.we called it a day at 2:00pm.we headed back to mike and donna's house in terramar beach(which is a bad *** home,i must say).they have a great set-up down there.we drank some coolies, cleaned fish and grilled a few hot dogs.watched a little of tennessee getting their asses drove into the snow.that was ugly!mike and donna were very hospitable hosts and i really enjoyed myself with them.we ended up with 9 trout(16"-20"),and 4 nice flatties(17"-18").we caught all of our fish on plastics.gulps and plum/chartreuse assassins and sand eels.it was a great day.i hope to do it again soon.i will post a picture later when lisa gets home with the camera
