A Day Late and A Dollar Short - 10-26

Fished with Reeltime yesterday for the redfish showdown. Started out pounding the marshes for reds and that's where we stayed all day. As usual for us, we found trout first and could have caught lots more but we left them looking for reds. Found several spots where we probably could have camped out and caught all of the 21 to 23 inch reds we wanted but we moved on in search of bigger ones. I lost count of the rats from 16 to 20 we caught and Chris caught a bonus flounder to go with what we kept. Wound up weighing in a 26 and a 23 and came in 7th with 11 lbs and change. All in all a great day on the water. Made it to the weigh in in time to check out the ghetto cowboys and relax at the sandbar with friends. Already looking forward to next year. Big thanks to Brad and Coe for putting on a great event!
