  • Fattie Flattie and the Reds!!!!!!!

Kaylin and I were fishing the GRS today, along with the BP tournament so we headed out early to fish the marsh. There were reds EVERYWHERE. We ended up with 12 or so reds all sight casted too. Biggest went a little over 6#s and we went 11.11 #s for the GRS..

While fishing, we were working a bayou that was full of reds when i nailed this HUGE FLATTIE... Went 5#s on the boga, the fish was released to fight another day...

She was 22 1/4" long and THICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was photo'd and weighed for submission to the Flounder Revolution tournament that Chester Moore started..

Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Mike.....The GRS is Galveston Redfish Series.
That is a very nice flattie Thomas. They should be staging and getting ready to move soon.
Glad to hear the reds were out.

Just an informational note. The reds were in less than 1' of water TIGHT against the grass in the marsh..

                        Great report.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
