To all, Donna and I went out for Donna's birthday today and she did pretty well. Water was clean, 80 degrees, wind was coming out of the WSW, but not to hard.
Went to our favorite cove by the house and she landed a small flounder, which she released. She then caught the flounder in the picture (tried to upload and it would not work), which was 21.5" and 6lbs. - have to take my word for it.
We left that spot and waded the north shoreline and she landed the red in the picture (would not upload). She was pumped up and wanted the slam on her birthday, so we tried several areas, but we ran out of time, since I have to travel to Austin this afternoon.
On a side note, she also caught this fat red (this picture did upload) on the beach yesterday. It came in at 28" and 8lbs.
The weather is great and the fishing is hot, so enjoy.
