OK, all you know it is my birthday today, so Donna and I headed out at 7:00 for a wade in one of the local coves in West Bay. Started off the morning throwing bone SS JR., had several blow ups and lost one nice trout. Switched to the AP's special plastic and first cast, landed a 23" 4lb trout (HAPPY BIRTHDAY)!
Caught a beautiful Red that had 7 spots on one side and 5 on the other, released, only 19". Caught another 18" red, released.
Caught a small flounder, released. A few inches away from a Birthday Slam.
Now we have Donna's morning.... I know she out fished me again with the keepers, but I did land more fish

Throwing new penny glup with 1/4 oz jig, she caught a small sand trout, released. She had some good bits, but no takers and she started to get a little frustrated with all the grass she was pulling up.
She wanted to go back to the boat and threw one last time and guess what, she landed a 20" trout 3lbs. Two throws later, she landed a 25" 6lb red.
Had a blast on my birthday and the day is still young, so we plan on hitting it again this afternoon and evening (If the weather holds up, it is bad right now).
Enjoy the pictures (Donna's trout picture would not upload???).
