Got to a south shore cove I like by 6:00. Throwing tops but found nothing. Made a move at 6:30 ish to the other side, tied on paddle tails, and started catching trout. By 8:30 I had caught maybe ten fish with 8 being keepers. Bite kind of shut down after that so by nine I figured I would go get some reds. Ran across the bay to the north side to near perfect looking conditions and set a drift where I picked up a good slot fish...put him on ice. Not much happening after that so started putting around the back lakes looking for pods...didn't find any but managed to hook two more specs to fill the limit. Came on in around 11:00. Great day.
