Gulp Crabs.???

Anyone ever fished "Gulp Crabs"
under Popping Corks.??
A friend was telling me he did this..
Whats the best way to fish these.??
I've always just used the small Brownie Shrimp..

I had a guy tell me to put them on a jig head and bounce them off the bottom for Reds. Hasn't worked for me so far, but I'm pretty stubborn.

have fished them on the bottom and caught sand trout, gafftop, red and black drum.
have also jigged them with same results
