Wet waded today

Wet waded a back cove yesterday, amd had a pleasant surprise....4 flounder and 4 trout to 21". I tried a corky and a topwater, but after the first flounder score on a red white paddle tail I jsut stuck with that. After the flounder bite slowed the trout bite picked up....didn't get the first trout until well after 10 a.m.
Only fished 3 hours so not a bad haul. The water wasn't bad at either...lil cold on the first wade, but after the initial plunge past crotch deep...all was good!

Yes that's me...in Cabo last year.
Let me add, I only caught 2 of the flounder, and we targeted drops and drains after we knrw they were there. My friends son, Morgan, actually caught the first on a maniac mullet, but released it.... then lost a trout trying to land it. My friend had 2 of the flounder, I lost 1 other flounder and another trout on the grab. We were on the water at 9 and off by 12:30 since Morgan had baseball practice.

That's my kind of report. Three hours with 6-8 fish on my favorite colored bait. Nice!
