  • First Fish of the Year

Finally got to go fishing yesterday from about noon til 3pm. Drifted West Bay around Deer Island. Picked up a 15" trout and a 24" red on Corky Nothinz. Unfortunately lost two of my corky's to the shell. It was a beautiful day.

the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

I was just fishing them with a regular jig head. Didn't have too much problem at first and could troll up and get them unhooked but the shell cut my shock leader twice. I guess I just wasn't patient enough.

Corky Nothinz - Clear with silver glitter. Water was fairly clear that day. First time I've used the Corky Nothinz.
