I got to get back at it again on Sunday last week fishing a deep hole along some soft mud and shell and fished from 730-2pm. Let me tell you, it was miserable weather out there. I called it a day when it started sleeting on me. I was tossing a high tide pink shrimp on a 1/4oz since the water was so clear I wanted something that looked real. I was just slowly reeling it in along the bottom and would on occasion bump it off the bottom.
I only managed to pick up 1 keeper trout that I CPR'd and 2 small flounder. The flounder loved this bait today. I had both of them hooked deep in the roof of there mouth and I didn't give them more then 2 seconds before I set the hook. The best thing I can say about that day on the water is that I wasn't in the house.
