West bay trout.err flounder!

Mike dragged me fishin this am for trout and the only thing biting were flat fish.I must have hooked 5 or six of them and boated three with dos keepers.They torn that corky up.The fish were out there but have lockjaw at least in the am.



west light to no wind
water temp started at 43 and was 47 by noon.did i tell you it was cold.
water was gin clear

I had the same results, 2 flounder caught missed a few bites, bait fish were scarce in all the areas I fished.

Still it was a beautiful day on the water.

I was out in east bay and did not see a single bait fish. No a bite. Beautiful day tho.

Nothing like seeing the sun rise while on the water, well except for seeing the sun set on the water about as good as it gets.

Tough day. We probably could have ground out a few more fish but I had honeydos back at the dock. Great time as usual Chris.

Thanks Mike.We only saw one other person catch a fish all day and it was on the way in.Anybody care to guess what it was.........
