Today turned out to be a good one and I finally took a friend from work fishing. He's been doing the bank fishing gig with bait and lures for the past year without much success. I took him to the mudpit to try and catch his first redfish and not only did he do it, but it was a sight cast! Very cool and seeing him pumped up really made my day. I got some video footage of the red and his hookup before his camera shut off on me. I'll post it up if he sends it to me but here is his first redfish!
Lots of reds seen today and the gulls were feasting on the shrimp they were pushing up. I sent him home with 3 and I bet he's still smiling. Good to see ya Kenny and that JB Channel marker test passed with flying colors.....!
