  • Pre-front trip last night

The Moonpie sneaked off last night to do a little night trip.
Got set up right after dark. Light on at 8:00pm.
Not much action for about an hour.
All of a sudden it was on. Lot's o fun for about 3 hours.
Burned thru a qt. of itty-bitty live shrimpsesses by 12 midnight.
The redfish were there too but I didn't have any finger mullet.
Wind was powering up by 12am so called it quits before it got bad and headed on home.

My light set up is very simple.
Small 2000W generator(Honda), extension cord, 1000W single bulb light, PVC pipe frame.
The PVC frame stands in the rod holders on the center console.
The light attaches to the frame with a simple U-bolt w/ wingnuts.
                  Turn on the genny.
                  Plug in the cord.
                  And TA-DA.

Caught the fish under a cork and free shrimping.
Threw a few lures but they weren't interested this trip.
