With the tourney keeping me busy this weekend I was happy to squeeze in a little bit of fishing...as reported earlier I picked up a slam Thursday. Friday I got to spend a few hours out there...spent majority of my time along the spoil banks of the inter coastal. Caught seven flounder and brought three home...a lot of dink specs and one that kept, and one rat red. Fish were up tight to the shore. When a barge would come through the water would get pulled out and I would allow the tout to get pulled out with the water and that is where the trout would hit it. Sunday morning I took Lara with me and we got to spend a little time out there. Started on the spoil banks again close to greens lake and again the flounder were there. Worked our way down the inter coastal heading west with not much else...couple small trout with one going fifteen and in the box. Up into Chocolate and caught a nice flattie that went 19" and I boxed him. All fish were caught on pumpkin seed with chartreuse paddle tail.
