Blown Out!

West Bay is sandy, rough, and thoroughly trashed. I went yesterday mid day and fished for three hours with nothing but a few dink trout & reds. Went this morning early to two spots and caught one 16"-17" trout. The wind was 15-20+ NE & ENE straight down the bay.
Tomorrow afternoon the weather liars say it may lay some.......

Post-front, pre-front? It really doesn't matter much, but a 20 mph. NE wind will always trash West bay!

We were out yesterday and found a few reds before the wind picked up. There was nothing "green" about Greens yesterday afternoon, but it was good to get out.

this blows, literally, i haven't fished in 3 weeks..... that's a record since i moved to bayou vista. if it hasn't been the wind, the tides in the afternoon have been really low.

So I got a "little" wet crossing the bay, still found some fish and I still am a "little" sore from being beat in a washing machine (i.e. west bay). Jeez, it was kind of ROUGH saturday.

Yeah I fished west bay on Saturday too, from like 2pm-dark, caught a lot of fish but all were undersized but 1 20 in red. all were caught on top waters.
