  • West bay 9-15

Bite was from 8 to 11. 2-3' mud/sand bottom. 15 keeper trout and one red. Could not get one on top to save my life. All fish were caught on pearl soft plastics.

One of the most finicky bites I've ever experienced. It was very hard to feel the bite. Also, wind was due west in the early morning and switched to the southeast as the day went on.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Nice job! Seems like the fishing is getting a little tough right now. Way to catch 'em.
