Fished with a neighbor yesterday. Left out of Bastrop and hit the bayou out to bird island. Started a wade just at daylight. Throwing Gun Dawg LiL Dummy chrome/chart belly. Landed 2 right off the bat. Birds were going crazy so went to the Mardi Gras Norton Sand Eel jr. Had our limits by 9. Did some scouting and went on in. Had a burger and a cold brew and called it the day... Good Day for sure.
