Put in @ 2004 around 5:00 AM made it to the south side of SLP and in the water before sun up. Water was a little dirty and the wind was a little more then I like but we fished it till about 8:30 and caught a few under size trout we left that spot with only 2 keeper trout. We headed for the east shore line to get out of the wind, picked up two more keepers in that area but it was a slow and windy grind. We called it a day around 11:30 on the way in we noticed the water looked really good up in Chocolate so we got out and tried one more spot. On my first cast I hook up with a lady fish using a plum bass assassin it didn’t get any better from their for me but Justin picked up a good red before we left. Will try it again maybe Thursday

SSW, SW, WSW wind has been a problem lately. It's been calming around 8:00 AM and even a little offshore, but pumping S & SW every afternoon.

I try to get out a couple times during the week days and work on Saturdays if needed but if this wind keeps up I may fish Saturday and Sunday.

They do look like very fine day's to fish indeed,I hope the Tropical storm doesn't rain on our parade.Let it rain monday!lolGood job on getting out there today.
