just crossed the causeway and the water looked good. rode my bicycle from boyd's to the moses lake flood gates this am and the guys coming out from wading mosquito and dollar reefs had nothing. as long as there's west in the wind, i'm staying on my bike. the island just got a nice shower.

Yea, its been a consistent bad direction wind all week and the bay's been pretty fast and rough. Water clarity wasn't too great either. Been cloudy all day today with some showers here and there.
Gigging for flounder could be good tonight and Sat. night. Low tides both nights.
Tonight -0.6 and Sat.-0.3.
I wish my back wasn't still bothering me or I would go.
With the southwest wind and full moon it might be tough. If you stick with it I'm sure you can grind a few out. The wind has been blowing out of the west the past few days, much of west bay is in pretty bad shape.

I hear you. If the water is too muddy, you can't stick what you can't see.
Drum bay,Bastrop bayou and Christmas bay were all muddy to off color today. The pass and west bay were quite fishable. The wind was steady in the am then shutdown for a hot hour then picked back up.
