Took the famous Coachlaw and Vjer
this morning And what a beautiful day!
Hit the beachfront early and joined the
Spanish Armada already there
strong incoming that started earlier
than my trusted tide chart said...LOL
Hooked up with a few trout right away
17-19" and quickly limited out on seaweed
Multtiple hook ups around us. Tide stopped
and we rolled out to West Bay hit the N shore
and Coachlaw jigged up another trout
and Vjer responded with an undersized red
Hit a S shore cove and the water was off color
Headed back to Blockade Runners
For all who have read all the blockade runner
reports . What a cool camp ! I grew up at
Treasure Island and spent countless hours
In that bayou. Brought back some great memories
Sandy and Vic are stand up guys and excellent
company ! Really enjoyed the day.
All in all we didn't hammer them
But a good day fishing with new friends.
