San Luis Pass / Chocolate

Met up with Fishwestend member Jocues and his son Justin this morning at the 2004 bridge. The pass started off slow this morning but I ended up sticking 3 Trout to 23", Justin stuck to Rat Reds and 2 solid Trout, and Jerry stuck 1 23" Trout. All on topwaters. Keying in on slicks and pods of nervous bait fish. Moved over to the next spot where we ended up staying for a few hours putting a beat down on them on topwaters. From 10 to 1130 was our best topwater bite and we just had blowup after blowup. This bite occured over shell/mud in 3' of water. The small Super Spook Jrs. were getting hammered by Trout in the 18" range. It was great to see Justin getting some good blowups. He was having a ball LOL.
