man what a day. ok heres a story for every fisherman. so i live in katy and i know its gonna take me a while to get to texas city, so we leave the house around 915am and everything is great. man am i excited to go fishing without the wind! so we hit a lil traffic close 2 downtown,no problem. get through that and start going i mean really going(90-100mph). just before texas city exit i see flashing lights! 
thats gonna cost me. dang!!! officer says whats ur hurry? i answer "just going fishing"he chuckles and hands me my ticket. ok so back on the rd, family wants whatburger now!! 30mins later back on the rd. exit 1764, wife says"whats that noise?" uuuuggghhh!! flat tire!!! 
ok so change the tire.15 mins later after loading all gear back in trunk on my way. 10 mins later at kfc cause im not leaving to take wife and kid to get food once i start. finally get to the dike (after stopping for bait for family)about 1145am. first fish was a 23 in. black drum. lots of croaker and baby specks before my wife caught her first ever sport fish, a 16.5 flounder. heres the pics. check out her reel. hahahaha hope you enjoyed the story!
