glad it worked for you. its tricky to get the timing down because if you hold the shrimp in the dye to long, he dies. If its not long enough, the color won't stick. There's a thin window of success. if you have trouble getting it right, you can always get dead shrimp. Peal em and let em soak over night in the dye tub. they will be lit! kind of makes a mess taking them out....i would suggest rubber latex gloves so your hand doesnt turn color. but it works awesome for whiting, reds, and sheepies. I've even put a peeled shrimp on a jig head before and worked it like a plastic. trout love em. or rig it up with a mauler style cork and pop it. good luck guys. post up some reports if you have any success!XA

Why not just get the easter egg dye tablets and throw them in your livewell? That what I have found that works the best for me. 2 tablets will generally work for up to two quarts.
