Late report 1/28/11

Headed out for an evening bite in search for winter trout with Sand Tarpon 14 , with the wonderful weather friday we had good expectations. Saw some bait, stopped and drited. Sand Tarpon 14 had two good hit and miss, myself an undersized red. Area seemed good so decided to anchor up. As soon as we started our wade sand tarpon 14 caught a nice middle slot red and then I hooked up to my first slot red of the year. In the other side of my line was a nice 26in red weighting a lil over 7lbs on the boga. Moved to our second spot and as soon as we got in the water I hooked up to another red. Sand Tarpon caught two more reds to finish off his limit, and i totaled two reds. Most fish caught on the hackaberry hustlers in morning glory or gambler flipin shad in strawberry w/ white. Fished in soft mud with shell mixed in and the water was 58 degrees. Ended up with no trout for the day.
