    29 west, 94 north-West Galveston Bay.

Most folks don't ask for locations-we learn them on our own through experience-me, 35+ years in galveston bay and never fished north of San Leon or north of twenty one islands (Vingt et un). Also, fish move based on water temp, water color, wind, tides, time and season, so out of respect, we do not potlick each other nor troll pictures for spots. One fella here even posted a 10+# trout he caught and the landmarks were obvious, but he also knows the where, when and how as to "His Spot" and all respect that and him.

A good post tells bait, water temp, tidal conditions, water conditions and wind and general vicinity. There are some lowlife scumbag mofos that troll sites and have no ability to locate fish on their own and are to GD cheap or stupid to hire a guide to show them the ropes of "new" areas. We have a dislike for trolls and potlickers. Just like when some dickhaid nearly broadsided me 35 miles out while I drifted and the moron trolled right at me-I said nothing-ya can't fix stupid and my thought was they will get theirs in return someday-only us two boats and the doomazz almost hits me-had to start up and get out of "his way" when he was under power-makes me wanna leave a boat filled with a bloody deck adrift in the GOM, but alas, not worth it.

Welcome to the site, enjoy the posts and post some reports. Please be courteous and others will return the same courtesies to you. We are a friendly group and do poke fun and make jokes and most know each other here on this site or at least relate well to one another-you'll not find the BS/crappiness that exists on 2Cruel here-the admin will make sure of that!

    Good luck and tight lines.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Here's some valuable info that I left out. The reds have been over soft mud and shell, in 1.5 to 2.5 feet of water. There are some failry obivous concentrations of mullet always close by. To be honest, there are several shorelines and porbably 5 or 6 different reefs that I have been fishing and all have worked under varying conditions......until today. They didn't bite at all, no topwater action.

I did run some other areas and saw good numbers of reds scattered out along a few shorelines but they were very spooky and in water well under a foot deep.

Not to be rude or arrogant, but normally i just won't respond to the request of where were the fish caught. I have worked hard for a lot of years to know what I do and with the crowds in this bay system, sometimes you just have to keep things to yourself. besides, I would trade 28 inch trout for half of the 100 plus reds I have caught over the last two weeks.

        Who stole my redfish bite??

Today was not the day for me to post another great follow up report about reds. Though I was able to find some, they were not in a happy mood. I had to move around way more today and with the tide even lower and falling all day, they have moved.

We fished some shoreline areas, VERY shallow and spotted quite a few reds, including good numbers that were on the upper end of the slot or larger. We just couldn't get good shots at them or convince them to get serious and eat. Our only red to the boat today was about 26 or 27 and released as usual. I spent the morning fishing from probably 7 to 12 inch deep water, (not hard to find with these tides) and like I said, saw them but didn't do well at feeding them.

Aside from the nice red that my customer caught today, the highlight would be seeing all the sunken junk and structure that you seen when the tide is this low.

Miles, there is an unwritten rule. NEVER ask for location. Structure, bait type, conditions etc. but NEVER location. ; )
