and probably still is! No birds Friday, unlike the previous Tuesday and Wednesday, but that didn't stop us from getting on a few. A late start at about 9:30 and no birds made us do a little searching and finally we found a pattern and something they liked...glow/chartreuse devil eye paddletails in about 4-5 ft of water. Didn't need to work it hard, just a twitch, reel some, twitch, reel and more than half the time they hit it on the drag. Anyway, just passing the word! these are some quality up to 22" 4# trout we've been on, and the occasional red/flounder are there too. Can't wait to get back over there Friday! Tuesday limited by 0830, Wednesday limit by 0750...no limits Friday but only stayed 3 hours and half of that was looking and running.

Pulled a marathon Tuesday and Wednesday...fish, work 12,fish,work 12, then died. Came back Friday after working Thursday night for the final try before the front hit. It wasn't my boat or you'd of gotten one I promise.

No, I haven't seen Dave in months since he started getting all rock n roll...he's in a band! Guy from work, that has a Whaler(everyone thinks were SilverKing...LOL). We'll leave from Sylvan or hit up a friend of his with access to a ramp on that side of the water. Been doing a lot of the afterwork stuff as my weekends have been taken up with family drama(don't ask). I haven't been to West in a month and then it was Bastrop. Looking forward to my 9 days off this long change and 5 days of fishing at least. If your off Monday - Wednesday, lets hit it one day bud!
