Speaking of reds...you ever fish inside Watergate around the docks, boats, ect..
There are some jetty size reds living in that marina!

That would be the spot. Great for reds in the summer. The drop off is about 6-8 feet of water.

In the very back, when you go in to Nassau Bay you go down to the dead end. There will be houses on your right and Marsh land to your left. Good area all up and down the Marsh land side. Once you get near the dead end Nassau will open up a little. The point on the marsh side and all the way around to the first house, along the drop off has clam shell and mud. Give it a try next time you go to the lake. The area is protected from srong winds once you get there.

Are you talking about the little cove with the sign and sunken boat below the waterline? If it is, and I havent been there in years, that used to be an excellent spot for reds, drum,and flounder on the drop off.

You might want to check it out next time you get out. This time of the year there can be some good trout and reds back there.

Nice job there Chip, did you try Nassau Bay there is some clam shell in the back. I have picked up some really nice trout and reds back there.

We never made it that far back. The farthest I went was the SSH channel. I haven't been back in Nassau Bay since early last summer.
