Beautiful Day on the Water

After a long break, I finally got out today with a couple of friends. Started to run up to Burnet, but little wind and good water decided to run out into the Big Bay. First stop, Larry had 5 keeper Specs, I had 9 and Pat zero. All caught & released on TTF Flats Minnow, Texas Shrimp on 1/4oz. around a mid-Bay rig. Made a run over to the C wells and I picked up 5 Specs, Larry had 3 and Pat got a couple. Again all C&R'd but 1 that took my Flats Minnow to deep. Put it on ice and gave it to a fellow at the dock.

On the way back to the dock, ran into 3 different groups of birds working off of Houston Point and C&R'd over 20 Sandies and 5 Specs.., awesome day on the water with good friends, boat ran like a champ and the fish were hungry. Thinking about hitting it again tomorrow.

Thanks Harvey, the action is hot up North right now. Down at Bayou Vista right now and haven't seen a single fish in my light. Think I will leave the boat up there for a while.
