Pat and I hit the water around 11 and found smooth running to our first site. Made a few cast with no takers and headed to spot 2. On the way, noticed bait being busted just off the channel, dropped the trolling motor and moved into position and first cast, we both hooked Jacks and the fire drill was on. The fish were going in opposite directions with mine pulling the boat and Pat's fish which was off the Stern.

After about 45 minutes and arms burning

Fish released and on to spot 2 where there were no takers. Spot 3 found a good Spec bite on Big Eyes, Cajun Pepper and Corky Fat Boy. Left them biting and headed to Spot 4 and found the mother load. For the next hour plus we C&R'd over 70 Specs, 1 Red and 1 Flounder all on the Cajun Pepper. Fish were still biting as the sun went down and we headed back to the launch.
Awesome day, smooth water and fun catching. Going to give it another try Friday.
