Had a late start with Cameron. Game plan was to make a run to a few spots out in the bay but the they were white-capping and winds were unfavorable so we stayed near the boat ramp. Our first spot was next to a deep drop off and yielded some light strikes, but no fish. After that we headed to another deep drop off and we saw two mullet jump on the opposite shoreline. From there, using a morning glory TTF Hackberry, I hooked up with a fat 18-19 inch trout. We worked that shoreline hard but found no more fish. We then moved to another spot that was pretty deep. By now the winds have died down and it was a lot more pleasant out there. We worked the shoreline hard as well. I added some beads to my leader (Thanks Ruben for the idea) and my second cast I had the most bone jarring strike I have had in the last 3-4 weeks. After a short fight with some drag peeling, I pulled up a fat 19+ inch flounder. Cameron caught an 18 inch rat red as well. We continued to work the shoreline. In the distance we saw some commotion and we headed that way. Cameron, using a TTF TKII in morning glory picked up a nice 23 inch red. We made short run to some pilings and he picked up a 21 inch red there as well.
