Flipping the switch turned this fish on

Was checking the weather report here on FWE this morning around 3 am & someone saw me logged on & called, it was Chris(Reeltime) asked what I was up to, told him I am headed out with Astros13 & invited him along as one backed out this morning. I warned him that it will be an insane wet ride. We set up & started fishing, bite was real slow, I get a tap, set the hook on a fat 23" trout caught on a maniac mullet that I just bought the other day. We fished more, then Astros13 snags a 20" trout, meantime Chris is going thru his tackle box & ties on a Corky bb. The wind picked up & started to drizzle on & off. Chris cast out & calls out to me on how to turn off the anchor light, he fumbled around for a second & found the right switch, as soon as he flipped the switch, bam, his pole doubles over & starts to pull drag. We thought he had a nice red on & teased him that it was a monster trout. The fish finally surfaced & ended up being a nice 23" trout. We all caught fish today in a not so good day, enjoyed the company.

Thanks again dawg for an insane trip. It was a wet cold but fun catching trip. Can't wait to do it again. Wtg Chris on that crazy fighting trout.
