Lower Galveston Bay 08.26.11

This morning was a grind for me from start to finish. I didn't string my first fish until 11:00 and was only able to scratch out three trout up to 18" and a 15.5" flounder. The tides are less than favorable; very little water movement. The strongest incoming tide of the day is occurring during the overnight hours.

No Skunk

Usta drive me crazy when it seemed all the conditions were perfect for catching fish and nothing bit. IMHO there is a lot to be said for current movement. At least you didn't get any skunk on ya! Thanks for the report and pics

Nice catch, JQ. Way to grind it out with no current.

Remember, it wasn't too long ago that we used to pray for 4 keepers between the 2 of us.
