We don't get day like this very often, days when 4 out 5 cast catches fish. Fishing deep water shell with pigs, yesterday the fish were down deep, nearly on the bottom, but today they were way up in the water. Caught lot of dink specks and small sand trout, but keep 10 specks, 45 sands 12 - 16'', and 2 gafftops over 4 #, and were back by 11 am. The morning started out with lighting moving in from offshore so we took our time to see what was going to happen, left a little late and then ran into showers, so we turned around and fish the flats for a while for trout. Picking up a nice 18'' and a few dinks, the showers cleared off and we head back to the deep water where we found the fish hungry. Wished days like this happened more often, but maybe the bite will last a few more days.Wish you could have been here.
