    ...thanks for the "heads up" concerning the vitamin D Brother. I find that everytime my back gets to aching when the weather turns it reminds me of that time back in '80 that I had a 28ft ladder come off the strand when I was a new hire with GTE. Have found that the best relief comes from a full day on the water in the Skeeter with several hours of pitching lures. If added treatments are needed a few sips of an "adult beverage" in moderation seems to take care of that sore back.

    Also Turmeric is a great supplement. It stopped my back spasms, and helps many other things. My arthritis has got better as well.

    Fillet of a fenny snake ,
    in the cauldron boil and bake ;
    Eye of newt , and toe of frog ,
    wool of bat , and tongue of dog ,
    adder's fork , and blind - worm's sting ,
    lizard 's leg , and owlet's wing -
    for a charm of powerful troubles ,
    like a hell - broth boil and bubble .

    After I made it through the late sixties and seventies, I wouldn't hardly take an aspirin. Now I gotta do what I gotta do.

    I don't take any prescription medicine, just supplements. I would recommend Cat's Claw for your prostate.

    It was all over. It was very pronounced above the knees and lower back. I had ACL replacement 30 yrs ago and have no cartilage in my left knee now. My knee start barking after I have been on them for a while….
    I hope you guys don't think my case says Vitamin D is a cure all. Consult your doctor like I did and ask for a specific blood test for vitamin D deficiency.

    Wow...That's great news for you.
    Lots of Doctors "practice" medicine.
    Was your pain only in the muscles or did you also have "joint" pain??
