Speckled Trout for Sale

You can sale trout ,they sale reds and flounder .

some of the seafood places get them from louisiana too.

interesting ,Huh I will ask the wardens at work tomorrow. I have also seen them for sale but its been a while. Seen a whole chitload of small trout that had been fillets at the boat ramp at 2004 it was a commercial fisherman/crabber he got outta there before I knew it he dumped his latex gloves and all im sure he sold them where he sold the crabs

On Friday a buddy of mine went to buy shrimp at a place close to Hillman's and he told me the shrimp place had speckled trout for sale. I thought this was illegal and when he asked them they told them they brought them in from Mexico. Anyone know if this is legal or not?? He got a great deal on some shrimp, I can't remember the name of the place but this seemed very odd to me.

tom find out which place hillimanis in my backyard....i've caught bait sized spec's in castnet.was tempted to put on hook but didn't with all the mullet i caught

I've seen 'em in the chinatown grocery store too.

I believe there has to be "import tags" or some other pa[perwork that evidences they were from somewhere else.
