The EPA is expanding its power over waterways and adjoining lands . That's going to affect us also .

I looked all over the Interwebs and there is no mention of regulating seatrout, flounder, or any fish in Texas right now. There are no scoping meetings, proposed rules, new studies, nothing on TPWD websites, 2Cool, several Texas fishing forums, Google, or nothing. Not a peep about new fish regulations anywhere. I couldn't read the David Sykes article because of the paywall so I wonder ... has David been drinking too much again?

I totally agree with making croaker a game fish.Originally posted by Steve_A View PostIf TP&W wanted to get serious about trout conservation, they would make croaker a game fish. If they have limits on gar, sheephead, gafftop and mullet, they should put limits on croaker too. I agree regulations for redfish should be changed too, something like 18-27", five a day.

I'd like to see the scientific data these proposed regs are based on. I'm almost certain that there's a political agenda that's fueling all of this nonsense.Originally posted by JT View PostAgree 100%..... I concur. Seems like they just keep making it harder and harder to keep fish.Originally posted by coachlaw View PostThe bastages should lower the minimum length for redfish to 16 inches. 20 inches is ridiculous.
