16 mile road is the "New Hot Jamaica Beach" turn in for me. In my High School Days, if my gin soaked brain is remembering correctly, you turned to the beach at Buccaneer which had a green cabana at the end of it on the beach. Good times in the late 60's and very early 70's.

I wish the State would have a mandatory drug test for all people collecting wellfare, take the millions you would save and use it to clean up the entire coast and put lifeguards on jet skis at the passes. That would make too much sense though.

Do you know how many greasy worthless people are on welfare? That would take years just to test Brazoria county. And there shouldn't have to be life guards on jet skis.... People need to respect the water and learn how to read the big signs everywhere warning about the currents.
