Galveston Bay, Big Pole Classic Saturday and Sunday
A couple friends of mine put on this tournament every year, it's called the Big Pole Classic.
There are 4 categories, Shark, Stingray, Bull Redfish and Jackfish. Each category costs $100 per boat to enter. Payback is 70% for 1st and 30% for 2nd.
They also have a $50 side pot for Gaftop and a $100 side pot for overall winner.
The tournament is this Saturday (July 21) 6:00 AM till 12:00 Noon on Sunday (July 22).
Weigh in is at the last boat ramp on the Texas City Dike.
There is a captains meeting that will be held at Louis' Bait Camp on Friday at 7:00 PM, that is where you sign up for the tournament.
** It is NOT necessary to enter each category, enter as few, or as many as your team wants, this is per boat, not individual.. unless you just want to fish alone..
