I thought most snakes in the grass were in Washington D.C.-too bad the cold doesn't affect them adversely there!! I know they are a cold-blooded bunch for sure.

I have a friend at Spanish Grant that swears he's seen a huge snake twice, once in Dana's, and once in Starvation cove. I think he probably saw two river otters swimming together one behind the other. That could look like a huge serpent. I really think that it gets way too cold here for a sub-tropical snake to survive or breed.

Any thoughts on these guys taking hold here? Besides thinning out the raccoons and the cats at the SLP toll bridge....
