I went out again today with a friend and it was not as good as yesterday just a bunch of small fish with a few keepers here and there. Had to get in the heart of the brush to get the keepers today.

Nice bunch of fish. I haven't fished Luces Bayou in about 6 years. I used to fish every spring for Crappie until I started salt water fishing. I may need to give it a try again. There is not much better fish to eat than a Crappie!!!

There is nothing like getting on schools of crappie and white bass in late winter and early spring when on fresh water. The plus about crappie is they taste better then flounder but they are a lot of work to get as much meat.

It's in Huffman near Crosby. Take 2100 to Huffman/Cleveland rd and take a left and you will run into the bayou.
