Raymarine E & C series displays being stolen-4 boats last week!
We have had to work with four people this past week,
And over 10 boats this year in Clear Lake, Galveston, and
Freeport!
Main equipment being stolen off of these vessels is the older Raymarine E and C series displays!
Wanted to let everyone know to be cautious!!!
Protect your boats!!!!
Appears the thieves are hitting boats sitting in the water
at marinas! Accessing the boats via there own boat!!
63' boat I just was working on had damage to swim
platform!!!
Cables all cut except for RADAR cable!!
We recommend next time on your vessel record all of your serial numbers, back up your waypoints, routes and tracks!
If you are staying on your boat and see or hear anything out of the ordinary???
Boat cruising marina late with lights off?? Odd individuals lurking???
Contact police immediately!!!
