I came across these posts during my Jetski research. The outcome is very interesting. This guy is a retired chemist and has made it his mission to uncover the truth. For one, he says, don't use ring free with E-10, it only compounds the problem with aluminum and rubber. He also says the popular additives are only great in marketing. Using these products with E-10 does not help and could hurt.
He recommends using Fitch Fuel Catalyst year around and Gas-RX if you keep fuel longer than 30 days in your tank. I haven't had time to dig into the research, but a factor of his investigation is exposing fuel to different temps, this accelerates phase separation. I'm not endorsing, but definitely wanted to share the info for anyone that wanted more data in deciding which additive or oil is best.
