Just a reminder from your friendly local history teacher. On this day in 1944, Americans, Canadians, Englishmen, Welshmen, and Scotsmem landed on the beaches in Normandy, France. They saved the world from an incredible evil. We owe these men all that we have today. If you know a WWII vet, or any vet, today is a good day to say "Thank You."
