I just finished my last rod of the year. And what a year it has been.
I want to thank the West Enders who have supported me in my first year of full time production. This year has really exceeded my expectation. Over 400 rods, 2 big tournament wins, 3rd for team of the year in the XRT and 100's of new friends that I have made building rods. We still have a long way to go, but this first year has really exceeded my expectations.
Though it has had it's challenges, it is truly a blessing to be able to have a job you love and meet the people that I have had the opportunity to meet and fish with.
I am really excited about our new CCR Pro Wader XP. It has fast action tip with a little more flex in the mid range of the blank for that head shaking sow of a trout.
I really believe this is the best trout rod that I have made. The rod weighs 3.2oz., has excellent sensitivity and cast ability. I'll have a new order of blanks coming in before the first.
