    Explorer it is a good stand by spot not far from 2004 bridge. Dont expect big fish but iit s fairly consistent. Kind of a stand by spot for the local 2004 bridge lauchers. Protected somewhat and a good beer drinking night fishing spot. Dont expect much but also if you like redfish the chocalate bay area is as good as any where to cactch redfish. The flounder can be really good at the right time of year also!!

    Explorer look sraight across westbay to the left from your pad on the northshore there will be alligator head,on the backside rom A.H. follow the bank to the narrows and then on around to the newbayou area.

    Actually I do not know where the narrows and halls entrance's are, but I am sure I can find them on my hot spot map. Thanks for the information and pics would be helpful.

    We got out there 5 30 pm sat .and about the same time Sunday.If you happen to see a 14 ''john boat with front side mount steering,i mean the steering wheel is up front like in a troot line boat,that would be the Corndogs rig stop us if you ever see us.AND YEH REDS ON TOP WATER gotta like it.I think Sneekypete for the topwater addiction....

    I went in there saturday about noon??? Caught 5 dink trout and 1 dink red. Bait was thick along grass. Only went up about 1/4 mile.

    Thanks guys,I got the call yest,Corndog wanted to go back to new bayou area so i was in his truck in 5 min.We slid right in where we were on sat. didnt take long to get blow ups,slurps,strikes.I managed to box two nice reds at 22" and 21' had severll more spit the O SKITTER WALK out.Cordog had many hits also they just wouldnt keep the hook in them .Corndog has more pics coming
